Screenshot showing disconnected Arabic letters in the Project Monitor compared to the subtitle editor.

SUMMARY
Arabic text in the Subtitle Track does not connect correctly in the Project Monitor. While the text appears correctly shaped in the Subtitle Editor, the preview shows individual, disconnected letters.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Add a Subtitle Track to the timeline.
2. Type an Arabic sentence (e.g., "والصلاة والسلام").
3. Observe the text in the Project Monitor.

OBSERVED RESULT
Arabic letters are rendered in their isolated forms and are disconnected (e.g., "و ا ل ص ل ا ه" instead of "والصلاة").

EXPECTED RESULT
Arabic characters should be correctly shaped and connected according to standard orthography.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This issue is specific to the Subtitle Track. Internal Title Clips render Arabic correctly when the RTL option is enabled. It seems to be a rendering issue with the subtitle engine in the new 25.12.0 release.
