pretty much the title

manual sorting doesnt work even if it is activated in the settings of the folder view widget. (configure folder view -> icons -> sort by). i cannot rearrange any file.

I can reproduce this on Plasma built from git-master

That's correct, arbitrary drag-and-drop is only supported on the desktop, not in the popups.

The bug here is that you can choose Manual sorting for the popup widget version, but it doesn't do anything.
