Recording of the missing animation

SUMMARY

No animation is displayed when launching pinned applications if they're a Flatpak version.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Pin a Flatpak application
2. Launch it

OBSERVED RESULT

No animation

EXPECTED RESULT

A loading animation, like with other application types

Linux/KDE Plasma: Fedora 43
KDE Plasma Version: 6.5.4
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.21.0

Thanks for the bug report, and for the screen recording, that's helpful. I see the loading spinner shows for Firefox (native) but not Waterfox (flatpak) in the Icons-Only task manager

I'm not able to reproduce this in Plasma built from git-master or Plasma 6.5.3 on Solus using Dolphin (native), Tidal (flatpak) and Obsidian Notes (flatpak). I can reproduce the problem with Waterfox (flatpak)

Do you see this bug with any other flatpak applications or only Waterfox?

Most flatpaks apparently display the spinner correctly, including the flatpak version of Firefox and Floorp, but I was able to reproduce this issue with the Flatpak version of LocalSend.
