Description Yiqun Lian 2025-12-24 07:50:09 UTC
When launching any application on a multi-monitor setup in KDE, the app briefly appears in the taskbar on all screens, even though the setting is configured to show windows only on the current screen. The taskbar icon disappears correctly once the app window fully launches.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

Set KDE taskbars to “Show only windows from the current screen.”

Connect a multi-monitor setup.

Launch any application.

OBSERVED RESULT
The app briefly appears in the taskbar on all screens before disappearing from the others.

EXPECTED RESULT
The app should only appear in the taskbar of the screen where it was launched.
