SUMMARY
I usually record my videos without audio first and later add the audio by recording directly into an audio track in Kdenlive.
When I do this, save the project, and then try to open it again, Kdenlive crashes and closes automatically when it reaches 50% of “Building sequence” during project loading.

To rule out configuration issues, I repeated the same test using default Kdenlive settings, recording only audio directly into the audio track, and the same crash still occurs when reopening the project.

I also tried clearing Kdenlive’s temporary and configuration data by deleting its folders from %APPDATA% (Roaming) and Local, but this did not solve the problem.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open Kdenlive.
2. Create a new project (default settings).
3. Record audio directly into an audio track.
4. Save the project.
5. Close Kdenlive.
6. Reopen the saved project.

OBSERVED RESULT
Kdenlive crashes and closes at around 50% while “Building sequence”.

EXPECTED RESULT
The project should open normally.
