SUMMARY

I have successfully connected Google calendar to my account, and I can see the events that were created in in Google calendar prior to connection.

However, both KOrganizer and Merkuro (I suspect the problem is in more general akonadi_google_resource that belongs to kdepim-runtime) can't show new events that are created inside Google calendar; but even more weird is that they *can* create events to the Google calendar and the events persist upon akonadi and KOrganizer/Merkuro restarts — but these events don't actually exist in Google calendar! I.e. it's like ghost events that can only be seen to Akonadi, despite them residing in Google calendar.

FWIW, this has started after I exported events from another corporate app to my Google calendar. But the "ghost events" is clearly something very wrong with processing on Akonadi side.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

I am not sure how well it is reproducible, but

1. Connect KOrganizer to Google calendar
2. *here* presumably some bug happens that makes Akonadi no longer see state of Google calendar
3. Create event in via KOrganizer or Merkuro in google calendar account and look at web-interface for google calendar

OBSERVED RESULT

The event exists in KOrganizer but not in Google Calendar

EXPECTED RESULT

Either the event exists in both locations, or it should fail to create.
