Ok, you can close this. I found out the issue is because I was using a immutable file system. The issues don't appear on on the regular Fedora KDE 43 desktop edition.
Still an interesting fault to run into. The system is supposed to be able to handle things having been installed onto a read-only file system (which fundamentally is what an immutable one would be when viewed from the point of view of the software), and with the amount of stuff going on with that type of system at the moment, does seem worth looking into. However, it'd want a more representative title than the current one, so it's a bit easier to find when searching and such.
