SUMMARY Disabling the quick tile keyboard shortcuts and setting them for custom tiling(or just using another shortcut key) will only make the windows travel inside the zones of the same monitor, they don't make the window travel between different monitors. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Set keyboard shortcut bindings for the 4 directions of "Custom Quick Tile Window" (I tried with both Shift+the 4 arrows and removing the default quick tile shortcuts of meta+the 4 arrows with the same result) 2. Make sure you have zone sets on both monitors with meta+t 3. Try to move a window from any zone to another monitor using the previously set keyboard shortcuts. OBSERVED RESULT The window has no issue traveling to the zones in each monitors, but will not travel to a different monitor, no matter the direction used(just in case it didn't follow the set placement configuration of the monitors). EXPECTED RESULT The window should move between monitors, like quick tile is able to. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: macOS: (available in the Info Center app, or by running `kinfo` in a terminal window) Linux/KDE Plasma: Manjaro Wayland KDE Plasma Version: 6.5.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.20.0 Qt Version: 6.10.1 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION I asked in discuss first and another person had odd behavior as well so seemed like a bug: https://discuss.kde.org/t/custom-quick-tile-movement-between-monitors/42762 I have 2 ultrawide monitors stacked vertically and no matter what I tried, I could not move the windows between monitors, which the old quick tile has no problem with.
