Description Aaron Eisele 2025-12-20 19:18:29 UTC
SUMMARY
The command `kdeconnect-cli -d <DeviceID> --photo <Path>` does not show any error message on the Linux side, but there is also no reaction on the Android phone at all.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. run kdeconnect-cli -d <DeviceID> --photo <Path>
2. It doesn't work

OBSERVED RESULT

See above

EXPECTED RESULT
It should have prompted me on the phone to select or take a photo, then transferred that to the Linux system.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

--photo is no longer supported. It has been removed, but Linux Mint distributes very old versions of software (including KDE Connect) that still show it.
