Description agarplayerarlon 2025-12-17 01:29:41 UTC
SUMMARY
I'm testing on KDE Linux with KDE Plasma 6.6 dev, and I've noticed a visual issue on the right click menu that is visible with translucency activated on the breeze theme.

Basically I've noticed that the blur exceeds by around 2 pixels on the bottom corners of the menu, and it exceeds in the border of the menu so it's quite noticeable even if it's just a few pixels, and this is also visible in dark mode.

Also you can see it on the top corners too of the menu, but it's less visible because in this case it doesn't exceed into the border but just into the background of the menu, so this one is less noticeable but it's still there.

I will attach screenshots of what it looks like

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Enable translucency into the breeze application style.
2. right click menu on the panel to see the issue
3.

OBSERVED RESULT
The blur exceeds into the borders in the corners of the menu

EXPECTED RESULT
The blur doesn't exceed.

Was fixed already once, https://invent.kde.org/plasma/breeze/-/commit/94bf7a11a9eb7d5f0933ccfe5c4eed5f322dafe6

if regressed maybe changed painting in a way where this is not reflected?

I'm not sure as I'm not a developer, but this issue is happening on KDE Plasma 6.6 dev on KDE Linux
