Created attachment 187633 [details] Rightclick-Menue Hi! There's a new submenu called "Faces" in the right-click menu. Is there a way to move it back to the main menu? I use these functions constantly and want to be able to access them quickly. PS: Is there a list of when and what changes were made to the program? That way I can read up on it myself. Best Regards Andy
I factored the face actions in a submenu because the the context menu is too large. I plan to add keyboard shortcuts for the face actions. The NEWS files records all main changes for each versions. Current one : https://invent.kde.org/graphics/digikam/-/raw/master/NEWS?ref_type=heads History since 2001 : https://www.digikam.org/documentation/releaseplan/ Gilles Caulier
Thank you! Perhaps there could be additional buttons for these functions in the preview overlay. To the right of the existing ones, or below them. Keyboard shortcuts require both hands again, instead of sitting back, eating pizza, and doing everything with the mouse. ;-) To keep track of program changes, I've always checked here: https://invent.kde.org/graphics/digikam/activity Andy
Buttons for face already exists in preview toolbar...
Unfortunately, not all of them. You can't search for faces, delete all, or ignore all unconfirmed ones here.
Wait. I plan to add all faces and groups action in the main menu. All will be settable with a keyboard shortcuts. We cannot bloat the preview toolbar with all action from the main menu.
Yes, I figured other users would also like to see their frequently used functions in the overlay. Perhaps there's a way to do this using the people filter on the left. When that's active, the overlay shows everything related to face editing. It's just an idea. I'm really looking forward to seeing what you have planned!
