SUMMARY
Sometimes plasmashell spontaneously quits in Wayland session

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
Not reproducible. Will happen eventually when running Plasma Wayland session

OBSERVED RESULT
Plasmashell spontaneously quits

EXPECTED RESULT
Plasmashell doesn't quit

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
(available in the Info Center app, or by running `kinfo` in a terminal window)
Linux/KDE Plasma: 
KDE Plasma Version: 6.5.3
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.20.0
Qt Version: 6.10.1

I guess you had too many open files?

Nevertheless, the fact that this can happen seems to be a source of fragility. Moving to KWin to see if there's anything that can be done there about it.

I certainly did not have many open files. This is not triggered by opening a file anyway and happens out of the blue

I don't see how spontaneous failure of plasmashell is a bug of kwin_wayland

"file" refers to file descriptors here. Are you using an Nvidia GPU? The Nvidia driver has a bug that can cause this
