Created attachment 187487 [details] Clock unsynced. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Record the screen at max framerate. 2. Lock the screen. 3. Unlock the screen. OBSERVED RESULT In the footage there will be a single frame that reveals that the clock is paused while the screen is locked. EXPECTED RESULT The clock should be as active as the Screen Locker clock. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: CachyOS Linux KDE Plasma Version: 6.5.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.20.0 Qt Version: 6.10.1 Kernel Version: 6.12.60-2-cachyos-lts (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Processors: 8 × 11th Gen Intel® Core™ i5-11300H @ 3.10GHz Memory: 9 GB of RAM (8.1 GB usable) Graphics Processor 1: Intel® Iris® Xe Graphics Graphics Processor 2: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Manufacturer: LENOVO Product Name: 82MG System Version: IdeaPad Gaming 3 15IHU6 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION I didn't know clocks weren't using the same process to count time, isn't that wasteful? I've notice it while analyzing the attached video for Bug 513161 Could be just a visual bug, but(g) reporting is the only way to find out.
The screen locker probably needs porting to the new clock backend.
