Folder color not changing on remote smb shares.

SUMMARY
When assigning a color to a folder located on a remote smb share the color is NOT actually shown in Dolphin.


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Navigate to a folder on a remote smb share
2. Right click on the folder
3. Select Actions / Color(at bottom)

OBSERVED RESULT
No visual change happens.

EXPECTED RESULT
The folder is expected to change to the color selected

Linux/KDE Plasma:  Fedora Linux 43
KDE Plasma Version:  6.5.3
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.20.0
Qt Version: 6.10.1

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
A ".directory" file is created, but the folder does NOT actually change color
