Description andy 2025-12-06 21:29:47 UTC
SUMMARY
After taking a screenshot, the 2nd time I press Print Screen button on keyboard, spectacle shows a banner with a red X saying "An error occurred while taking a screenshot.

In journalctl when I press Print Screen I see an empty log line like "spectacle[747057]: "

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

Method 1:
1. Press print screen, select "Rectangular Region", draw a rectangle, and hit enter
2. Hit print screen again

Method 2:
1. Press print screen, and don't pick which type of screenshot to do
2. Hit print screen again from this main spectacle menu

OBSERVED RESULT
In both cases, a red banner pops up with a red X saying "An error occurred while taking a screenshot.

EXPECTED RESULT
Print Screen button works with an existing spectacle instance
