My default output from Render is ~/Videos even though the clip I chose was in ~/Downloads Kdenlive: 25.12.1 Kdenlive MLT: 7.36.1 FFmpeg KDE Frameworks: 6.21.0 Qt: Using 6.10.1 and built against 6.10.1 Manjaro Linux (Wayland) Build ABI: x86_64-little_endian-lp64 Kernel: linux 6.6.119-1-MANJARO So the logic you're wanting is to an "Optional: Add "Render to project folder" checkbox in Project Defaults." Where is 'Project Defaults' ?
You can find Project Defaults directly under Misc in: Configure - Kdenlive Project Defaults Project folder: Default or Parent folder of projet file or Custom project folder
