SUMMARY
When I drag a clip into the timeline, sometimes it is imported twice.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
Could not reproduce it in a controlled manner, it happens randomly.

OBSERVED RESULT
Sometimes, if I drag a clip into the timeline it is imported twice in both V1 and V2 video tracks. The one added to V2 track starting 10 to 20 seconds later than the one added to V1 track.

EXPECTED RESULT
When I drag a clip into the timeline it is added only to the desired video or audio track.

I also experience this but couldn't exacty understand when it ghappens, will investigate.

Should now be fixed in the upcoming 25.12 with this commit:
