SUMMARY Easy way to watch / stop video clip previews. Just click anywhere on a video, instead to add ui buttons in a remote corner. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Select a folder with movie clips in the in tree view 2. Double click a movie thumb to start a movie clip 3. Click anywhere on the video clip to play or pause - doesn't work OBSERVED RESULT Clicking anywhere on a video clip doesn't pause or play it. Pause / play is a separate button in the top left corner of the running movie clip window. EXPECTED RESULT play/pause button should be a layer on top of every movie clip. We have a toolbar above the video widget with play/pause, etc. Since a single click is also possible to start an image preview/video and return to the icon view, a play/pause button directly over the video is not possible. I personally use a single click for the preview; this behavior is inherited from the desktop (here, KF6 with single click enabled). Even VLC doesn't use a play/pause over the video. Maik
