SUMMARY When switching a virtual desktop, there's a small stutter or flicker at the very end of the slide animation, when the animation has finished. It's noticeable when using the default 50% animation speed, most noticeable when using slowest and not visible, when using no / instant animations. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Slide to the left/right or slide top/bottom OBSERVED RESULT When animation has finished in principle, the screen's content oscillates very briefly in the same direction of the slide for a few pixels, looking a like tiny flicker / stutter. I can upload a video recording later if needed. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: openSUSE Tumbleweed 20251127 KDE Plasma Version: 6.5.3 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.20.0 Qt Version: 6.10.1 Kernel Version: 6.17.9-1-default (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Graphics Processor: AMD Radeon RX 580 Series
Can't reproduce, the animation looks smooth to me until the end.
Created attachment 187362 [details] Screen Recording Here's a screen recording, slowed down by factor of 8. I will checkout git master later this weekend.
Need to check for the other screen, but for the current one it looks like it came from the on by default Overdrive setting. I've turned it off now.
