Hello Okular team,

I would like to suggest a new feature for Okular: a “Hide All” option to quickly hide all annotations, comments, highlights, and handwriting notes in a PDF.

Use case:

I often use Okular on a touchscreen or interactive whiteboard without a keyboard.

Currently, each annotation must be hidden one by one, which is time-consuming and inconvenient.

A single Hide All button would allow users to instantly hide all notes while keeping the PDF content visible.

Improves workflow for teachers, students, and presenters using interactive displays.

Makes reviewing and reading PDFs faster and easier.
