Description Corban 2025-11-26 13:30:25 UTC
Yakuake no longer takes the focus away from whatever window is open at the time. This looks like a regression as it has only been doing this for a week or so, before that it has taken focus when F12 was pressed to show the terminal.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Have yakuake running
2. Be in another app
3. Press F12 to start typing in yakuake
4. Become increasingly frustrated that whatever you type goes into an app that you can no longer see because yakuake is in front of it
5. Press F12 twice and suddenly it will appear with focus.

OBSERVED RESULT

Yakuake takes 2 attempts to steal focus

EXPECTED RESULT

Yakuake should take focus when it's opened, similar to krunner which isn't having this problem.

The workaround is to set focus stealing prevention to Low. If it is Low and still happening, you are free to reopen this, but I cannot reproduce this with that setting being on Low.
