sorry to report bug after fresh launch. I thought i just let you know
Description:
On Kubuntu 26.04, after setting the KDE panel to auto-hide, the panel does not reappear when moving the mouse cursor to the edge of the screen. This issue occurs consistently after enabling auto-hide. I have attached a video demonstration to illustrate the problem.
Steps to reproduce:
1.	Open System Settings and set the panel to auto-hide.
2.	Move the mouse cursor towards the edge of the screen where the panel should reappear.
3.	The panel does not pop up as expected.

Thanks for the bug report. There's another report that looks very similar - bug 370964

Do you have a similar setup as described in comment 12 in that bug?

Indeed, looks like it could be that. Can you verify whether or not the issue continues to happen if you play with the System Settings > Mouse & Touchpad -> Screen Edges settings, as per https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=370964#c12?

Also, does it happen in a new clean user account with no customization except for turning on auto-hide for the default panel?
