A video showing the issue occuring when zooming out in icons view mode.

SUMMARY
Zooming out in Dolphin, regardless of which view mode, cause artifacting. It goes away after a mouse click. This doesn't happen when zooming in however. Observed this bug since 25.08.1, still exists in Flatpak version 25.08.3.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Choose any view mode.
2. Zoom out.

OBSERVED RESULT
Artifacting of text and the selection can be observed.

EXPECTED RESULT
Zooming out should be just as smooth as zooming in.
