SUMMARY Live Stacker crashes immediately after selecting Pictures/M33 folder in Kstars 3.8.0 nightly/flatpack. I am using kStars. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. run EKOS schedular on a target 2. Open Live Stacker 3. Select "stack directory" under the live stacking tab. OBSERVED RESULT Program immediately dissapears from screen EXPECTED RESULT Program continues SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: macOS: (available in the Info Center app, or by running `kinfo` in a terminal window) Linux/KDE Plasma: 24.04 KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.12 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.115.0 Qt Version: 5.15.13 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION First time user
Hi Paul, Have you permissioned the Pictures directory for flatpak? If not, try doing that. If you still get the problem, can you put verbose FITS logging on try again and post the log file here please. Regards, John.
