SUMMARY Every time I launch Plasma after it has entered "Sleep" mode, the drag-and-drop functionality stops working. Simply selecting an item (in Dolphin, Gwenview, or any other application that allows it) causes the application to freeze (the screen fades to grayscale) and only "unfreezes" after about 20 seconds. This happens both within the same application and when trying to move it between applications. As soon as I try to move a file, the application freezes. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. - Enter sleep mode 2. - Resumes from sleep mode 3. - Open Dolphin/Gwenview or any other application 4. - Select a file and try to drag it OBSERVED RESULT Application freezes for 15 to 20 seconds EXPECTED RESULT To let drag the file SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: openSUSE Tumbleweed 20251110 KDE Plasma Version: 6.5.2 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.19.0 Qt Version: 6.10.0 Kernel Version: 6.17.7-1-default (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland ADDITIONAL INFORMATION As an additional note, I've also noticed that the context menu (right-click) doesn't open either.
I have same issue even in an "outdated" Tumbleweed version in other PC. Operating System: openSUSE Tumbleweed 20250714 KDE Plasma Version: 6.4.2 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.16.0 Qt Version: 6.9.1 Kernel Version: 6.15.6-1-default (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland
Additional note: Wake up from "Sleep" mode has nothing to do with the problem, because the second device never goes into sleep mode, it's always on and only the screen locks up.
