Created attachment 186853 [details] video showing no deletion confirmation appearing SUMMARY In dolphin's settings, under the confirmations tab, there are 2 options "ask confirmation in all KDE applications when: - emptying wastebin - deleting files or folders" With "deleting files or folders" checked, if you delete a file (either by right click -> delete, or by hitting the delete key) - no confirmation of deletion is asked. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Dolphin hamburger menu in the top right 2. configure 3. configure dolphin 4. interface section on the left hand side 5. confirmations tab 6. make sure "deleting files or folders" is checked 7. create 2 dummy files 8. select 1 (a.example) 9. hit the "delete" key on the keyboard. Expected: should ask for confirmation if I want to delete this file. 10. select the other file (b.example) 11. right click -> move to wastebin Expected: should ask for confirmation if I want to delete this file.
