Description Olivier BELLEUX 2025-11-15 16:52:53 UTC
Good evening,

I created a new folder in KMail; it appeared at the top of the local folder tree (Maildir).

I dragged and dropped it to move it to another location in the tree, and KMail immediately crashed.

The same behaviour occurs every time.

I tried several things to fix this problem.

Without success, until I tried using akonadi-migrator to switch to SQLITE wich failed with a message indicating a major problem with the MYSQL database.

I deleted the akonadi configuration, manually configured Driver=QSQLITE, restarted it, and reconfigured everything (email, address book, etc.). The problem seemed solved to me then.

Today, the bug reappeared.

I tried akonadi-migrator again to switch back to MYSQL.

For the moment, it seems to be working, except for one detail: the INBOX folder is in second position under OUTBOX. Dragging and dropping onto INBOX causes KMail/Kontact to crash.
