Description j.vdh 2025-11-15 16:33:02 UTC
SUMMARY
When entering a password in a hidden field with no feedback of typed letters, like when using sudo in a console, the shift key will stay pressed and not deactivate after typing a letter.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Enter a command that demands a password and does not give feedback of input, for example sudo in a console
2. press shift once in plasma-keyboard
3. press a letter

OBSERVED RESULT
Shift stays activated after pressing letter.

EXPECTED RESULT
Shift should deactivate, like it does in regular text fields.
