When I highlight something on the desktop, a frame appears, but it does not appear on the second monitor. I also can't drag any file there. If I open or drag any window to the second monitor, the window itself works, but there is no way to interact with the desktop on the second monitor. You can only open the menu.

It sounds like the second monitor is set to Desktop mode, instead of Folder View mode.

Right click the desktop on the second monitor
Click "Desktop & Wallpaper

Is the "Layout" set to "Desktop"?

Thank you. I set the "Folder View" and it seems to be working. Strangely, I didn't set up or change anything. I connected the new monitor as the main one, and made the main monitor the second one.

I didn't even know about the existence of this option. Thanks

I've seen comments from a couple of other people that they had a display change to Desktop mode without their setting it. Can you clarify something for me? Have you had the same two displays in use for a while or did you recently add the second display?

I had 2 monitors, 2K 144Hz and 1080p 75Hz. A long time ago, when I first switched to Wayland, there were flickers on the 2K 144Hz monitor. But they were fixed pretty quickly and everything was fine. Now I have decided to buy a new 4K 160Hz monitor and make it the main one. The scale is set to 125%. There is a problem with the 100% scale and other values.

I have two monitors. The primary is 160 Hertz, the second is 144 Hertz. The problem occurs on the main monitor with a frequency of 160 Hz. The problem appears only when the frequency is set to 160 Hertz. When a different screen frequency is set, I didn’t notice any problems.

Part 2 of the message
I haven't changed any settings. Here is a link to another bug report that I created. No one has answered there yet.

Thanks. Since it sounds like the original problem is solved now that you have switched the display back to Folder View. If you have that problem again, feel free to reopen this report. We'll handle the monitor flickering in the other report.
