SUMMARY
I tend to use mastodon apps to interact with friendica instances.  Sometimes I'm able to get to a login, and regardless of method. It eventually crashes to desktop or more often freezes app at entering the instance. I do not know if this is relevant... but I have similar issues with tuba. but tut and toot work perfectly - dunno if those being a tui is a factor.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1.  open app
2. enter my-place.social instance
3. wait for results

OBSERVED RESULT
either immediately freezes app or foes to login which then crashes or freezes


EXPECTED RESULT
login in

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma:  postmarketos (edge and stable) - Plasma (pmos stable) & SXMO (edge)
KDE Plasma Version: 6.5.2

Tried this on two separate mobile linux devices - pixel 3a and oneplus 6
