Description Artemiy 2025-11-14 21:57:07 UTC
SUMMARY
Hello, I'm downloading videos via yt-dlp since I live in the north of the Russian Federation where the Internet is bad. And for some reason, all the videos that I open in Haruna do not play, while if I open them directly in mpv and vlc, they play back without problems. However, no crashes occur. The files are simply ignored despite the extension and the fact that Dolphin understands that it is a video.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Download video from URL
2. Open video in Haruna

OBSERVED RESULT
Video ignoring

EXPECTED RESULT
Play video

I cannot reproduce the problem with that file on Debian 14 + KDE Plasma 6.5.2 and Haruna 16.0.

And all the videos download from Youtube with yt-dlp work well.
Except for the 4K ones which are unexpectedly stuttery and I don't know why or what is going on, since the developer of Haruna refuses to provide any statistics display feature.

You either stop being rude or I'll ignore you.
