Description aronkvh 2025-11-12 22:04:02 UTC
I connected an external screen to a laptop, and the sides are cut off, including almost the entire panel.

All the UI elements also appear blurry, still usable but very noticeably less sharp than when the same monitor is connected to a PC as the only screen.

The wallpaper on the internal screen becomes too bright and low contrast, it looks "correct" when there is no external monitor connected.

Changing scaling on the built-in screen makes no difference.

Both screens are 1920x1080:

Setting overscan to 40% brings back the panel, but then everything so blurry, it’s uncomfortable to use.
Comment 3 aronkvh 2025-11-17 14:02:56 UTC
My display turned on overscan all of a sudden, and I just needed to turn it off
