Description raphael.oded.godseeker 2025-11-10 05:05:36 UTC
SUMMARY
Clicking the The "Get More Templates" button seems to freeze the application indefinitely, either when going through configure, or in the "New Project" window.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Click the "Get More Templates" button

OBSERVED RESULT
Observe as the application flashes some window and then locks up
The system manager reveals the CPU usage is non existent to run KDevelop, nor what appears to be some kind of child terminal process associated with it in some way.

EXPECTED RESULT
It should presumable open some kind of panel to downloading or installing more templates for creating projects. Idk. This is my first experience trying out KDevelop sadly.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: Kubuntu 25.10
KDE Plasma Version: 6.4.5

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Graphics Platform: Wayland
I am running this in a virtualbox Vm, though everything else seems to work fine so far.
System version is listed as 1.2, whatever that's for.
