Description simon.roeblreiter 2025-11-09 13:33:16 UTC
SUMMARY

Devices added manually by IP can't be removed from the list in the app once they have been added, no matter if an IP address or a hostname was entered. There simply is no option to remove them.
As a result, the list gradually grows as the feature is used and the phone tries to ping each entry.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Tap "Add devices by IP".
2. Tap the button with the "+" symbol on the bottom right.
3. Enter an address or hostname and tap "OK".

OBSERVED RESULT

The new entry is now in the list without any option to remove it.

EXPECTED RESULT

Each entry should be removable via a button, a context menu after long-pressing or similar.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Android 15
LineageOS 22.2-20251106-NIGHTLY-polaris

HARDWARE
Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S "polaris"

Forgot to add the app version, sorry.
KDE Connect Version 1.34.1
(But has been the case on previous versions too.)

I have to apologize to the maintainer(s).
I just found out that you can delete manually added devices in the described list by swiping them to the left or right side of the screen.
I would still suggest adding a long-press action which enables users to delete items of the list, just to prevent future confusion like mine.
