Pausing media and un-fullscreening applications when closing laptop lid

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Connect your laptop to a secondary screen
2. Choose to extend the display to the left/right (or with a custom layout)
3. Open up a browser on the extended display,
4. Go to a site, e.g. youtube.com
5. Play a video in fullscreen
6. Close your laptop's lid while playing a video

OBSERVED RESULT
The playing video has been paused, and has been restored to a maximised window.

EXPECTED RESULT
Video should continue playing in full screen, and any window that happened to be open on the primary display should be behind the current fullscreen window, like in GNOME.
