Description warren 2025-11-09 00:24:54 UTC
SUMMARY

After upgrading to KDE 6.5, switching workspaces from the pager widget now takes two mouse wheel "scrolls" (the point where most mouse wheels click and an input is detected), while in the previous version it only took one scroll. Scrolling in applications like Firefox and Kwrite isn't affected, only desktop workspaces.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Set up multiple virtual desktops, add a pager on a panel and try to scroll through them with your mouse wheel.
2. I can compare with the previous behavior by doing the same thing in a live boot iso of Fedora 42/KDE 6.3.4

OBSERVED RESULT
In Fedora 43/KDE Plasma 6.5.2 switching to the previous or next workspace requires two mouse wheel scrolls.

EXPECTED RESULT
Only one scroll was required before

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Fedora Linux 43 (Wayland)
KDE Plasma Version: 6.5.2
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.19.0
Qt Version: 6.10.0
