Version: (using KDE KDE 3.0.4) Installed from: Gentoo Packages OS: Linux When turning the ruler again and again. I.e. by holding the L or R button, the digits suddenly appear on the wrong side of the ruler. (e.g. east in stead of north) When it does so, it is now possible to adjust the ruler's length, but in fact it changes its width, making it possible to create a fullscreen Kruler :)
I can't reproduce this on CVS HEAD anymore. Is this still a problem for you? If not can you please close this bug.
Cannot reproduce too.
I now upgraded to KDE 3.4, it's still in there try this: -start kruler -set length to Full screen -move the mouse to the center of the ruler -hold the 'R' and keep the mouse in the center of the ruler so it doesn't loose focus -suddenly you will see less digits, you can release the 'R' You will now see the digits on one end of the ruler.
This bug still exists. Hold down r for a while and see it spin and get confused.
yep, I can reproduce this too. Not easy, though.
This bug happened to my KDE 4 on startup, 3 days after install of kruler from ubuntu packages. Will tell you if it reproduces again.
A simple quit-and-restart application solves it. (the bug appeared when kruler started along with KDE because it was quit before previous logout.)
Should be fixed with r895676. The cause was the handcoded rotate function which is now replaced by QTransform::rotate.
