SUMMARY
Audio Volume Widget(inside System Tray) always remain muted in Application Menu Bar

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Use default panel settings(No application menu bar)
2. Right Click on Desktop, then click "Enter Edit Mode"
3. Click on Add Panel, then choose "Application Menu Bar"
4. Add System Tray Widget in Application Menu Bar
5. Change volume using keys or hover over Audio Volume Widget and scroll up down

OBSERVED RESULT
Audio Volume Widget always remain muted

EXPECTED RESULT
Widget should change according to current volume

It does get resolved on restarting the device, but still I think it should be resolved

Thanks for the bug report, and the screen recording, that's helpful.

I'm not able to reproduce this on git-master. The volume widget works normally.

I'd like to clarify something. In your steps to reproduce, you mention adding the Application Menu Bar. When I add the system tray to the Application Menu Bar panel, it's always on the left. How did you get yours positioned on the right? I want to make sure I'm using the same setup.

Apologies for late reply, to position it on the right you have to add spacers(In reply to TraceyC from comment #3)

For that just add a spacer and drag System Tray to the right, like in my Screen Capture I have two between Sticky Note(Leftmost) and Clock(Middle) and then between Clock and System Tray(Rightmost)

Well I updated to Plasma 6.5.4 and this bug is fixed now
