SUMMARY Recently, I installed updates, getting the latest copy of KPatience. I noticed what I initially thought was a new card game, Normandy, before realizing that it's a renamed Gypsy. This is fine, I find the new name perfectly cromulent. But the help files still refer to it as Gypsy. This also means that the Help with Current Game menu item doesn't actually take you to the help section for this game. The documents on docs.kde.org should probably be updated. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Launch KPatience 2. Start a new game of Normandy 3. Click on Help > Help with Normandy (Ctrl+Shift+F1) OBSERVED RESULT The default web browser opens to the document with the rules for all games, but the rules for Normandy do not appear in this list. Specifically, it attempts to open https://docs.kde.org/stable5/en/kpat/kpat/rules-specific.html#normandy but since there is no section labeled "Normandy" it just opens the page and doesn't scroll to that section. EXPECTED RESULT The default web browser should open the the help document to the section showing the rules for Normandy. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Ubuntu 25.10 KPatience 25.08.1
docs.kde.org is just very old: last-modified Thu, 09 Mar 2023 https://invent.kde.org/games/kpat/-/merge_requests/80 updated the documentation as well.

The documents on docs.kde.org should > probably be updated. There is a problem with docs.kde.org: https://invent.kde.org/websites/docs-kde-org/-/issues/2 so I'm going to move this back to kpat, as https://invent.kde.org/games/kpat/-/merge_requests/80 is the fix for the issue. In any case, even if docs.kde.org is outdated, if you have khelpcenter installed, the help will open there using the local (and up-to-date) version of the documentation.
So, there is nothing left to do: the docs.kde.org infrastructure is lacking the update and you're lacking the local help support. But it's no kpat bug.
