Description Arijus 2025-11-04 10:27:17 UTC
While using the console with Orca, I noticed that the screen reader does not announce individual letters as they are typed — only spaces trigger feedback. After executing a command, Orca does not read the resulting output in real time. Additionally, trying to review the output using Caps Lock + U or Caps Lock + O does not work — Orca remains silent and does not read the content.
I’m not a developer, so I can’t offer a technical solution to this issue. However, as an Orca user, I encountered this problem and wanted to report it in case it helps improve accessibility for others.
This behavior makes it difficult for visually impaired users to interact with the terminal effectively, and I hope it can be addressed in future updates.
