Dmesg log after freezeing.

Note: My specs are ThinkPad T440p (i5-4200M, HD 4600 iGPU, 16gb ram)
SUMMARY
After a resume on a cold boot or reboot, the system stops responding to inputs, either for a bit or just forever.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Boot the system from a cold start (power off, power on, or reboot)
2. Suspend the system via the Sleep button in the Plasma menu.
3. Resume by reopening the lid.
4. The display wakes after a bit, but inputs are frozen, then sometimes after a bit all put at once.

OBSERVED RESULT
The system freezes.

EXPECTED RESULT
The system resumes normally and can be used again.

Comment 1 TraceyC 2025-11-04 20:23:16 UTC
Thanks for the bug report. This sounds very similar to bug 511611. Can you search for a line similar to the following in your system logs for a session where the input bug happened?

Failed to activate /org/freedesktop/login1/session/_32 session. Maybe another compositor is running?

You can get the logs for the current boot, and search for that text with

sudo journalctl --boot | grep Failed

Thanks

Hello,
Thank you for the reply.
I saved a log from journalctl when it happened in a tty,
this is the output of grepping Failed in the log.
