Created attachment 186421 [details] Panel with shifted icon Hello I have a vertical panel with keyboard layout icon as a country flag. And after update to KDE Plasma 6.5.1 that icon was shifted to the left a bit (see the attachment). I have fractional scaling 125%, and changing it to 100% fixes the issue. The problem is not occurring for text layout representation, only for icon mode. Panel position: vertical left Screen resolution: 2560x1600 Panel width: 56 Fractional scaling: 125%
I'm able to reproduce this on Plasma 6.5.1 (36px panel on 100% scaling but not 56px & 100%) I cannot reproduce with Plasma built from git-master (48px, 56px, 100%, 125%) I'm also not able to reproduce this on a Neon Testing VM (6.5.2) with your exact settings. Hopefully, this is fixed in 6.5.2 / 6.6.0. In the past, however, bugs involving the panel were very sensitive to system, display settings and panel settings. I'll leave this open in case others can reproduce it.
Unfortunately, still reproduced on 6.5.2 for me. Fedora Kinoite 43 KDE Plasma 6.5.2 KDE Frameworks 6.19.0 Qt 6.10.0 Kernel 6.17.7-300.fc43.x86_64
Hi Artem, Does this reproduce in a new clean user account, with the only customizations being the panel position and thickness, scale factor, and keyboard layout?
Created attachment 187873 [details] Panel tray with 200% scale factor Hi Yes, it's reproducing for me with a such test scenario: 1. Create new user 2. Move panel to the left\right side of the screen 3. Change keyboard layout widget style to icon (or icon + text) 4. Change scale factor to >100% It's reproducing for any scale factors >100%, it's just more noticeable for a bigger values. And for 200% it's obvious that this icon is not scaled properly as other tray elements (see new image attached). KDE Plasma 6.5.4 (Wayland) KDE Frameworks 6.21.0 Qt 6.10.1 6.17.12-300.fc43.x86_64
I still can't reproduce this on git-master, hopefully this is fixed in 6.6.0
