SUMMARY Drag and drop of video or audio from the icons in the Monitor works only every second time. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open any clip 2. Try drag and drop video or audio from the Monitor icons into the timeline OBSERVED RESULT Only every second attempt at dragging starts successfully. EXPECTED RESULT Normal drag and drop. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Kdenlive: 25.08.2 MLT: 7.33.0 FFmpeg KDE Frameworks: 6.18.0 Qt: Using 6.9.2 and built against 6.9.2 AppImage Debian GNU/Linux 12 (bookworm) (Xcb) Build ABI: x86_64-little_endian-lp64 Kernel: linux 6.12.43+deb12-rt-amd64 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION It seems that this bug was introduced in 25.08.2. There was no such problem before. It is present in both the AppImage and the Flatpak release. As I am mostly doing music videos always ignoring audio of source clips this bug is very frustrating to me.
See also: https://discuss.kde.org/t/imported-video-has-no-audio-track-but-has-audio-in-media-players/41181/3 It's not quite "every second time", it's related to the bin jobs completing for the new clip.

For me 99% of the time it's exactly every second time (at least for the Flatpak version). I even got used to it to a degree and managed to complete a rather complex edit.
Fixed in 25.12.0.
