Description h3mx85mx1 2025-10-29 10:13:40 UTC
SUMMARY
Keyboard shortcuts for log out / shut down / restart broke in the full-screen confirmation screen ("Restart now" / "Cancel" buttons). There is no keyboard shortcut to select either option.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open application launcher
2. Click shut down or restart (full screen confirmation screen appears)
3. Try proceeding with keyboard (enter / space bar)

OBSERVED RESULT
Nothing happens. Space bar used to work. But either tab stops / enter would also be good options.

EXPECTED RESULT
Space or Enter restarts / shuts down.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
KDE Plasma Version: 6.5.0

Works for me. Does the issue reproduce for you in a new clean user account on the same computer?

new user worked

i figured out its actually a focus issue (right clicking on the background of this screen focuses the window and enables keyboard shortcuts)

changing the focus stealing option from the default medium to low fixes the issue for me

will close this for now
