Thanks for the bug report. Can you let us know if the bug happened in X11 or Wayland? Does it happen in only X11 or only Wayland or both?

I don't have an X11 session so not sure about that one.

I'm not able to reproduce this on Plasma built from git-master, or Plasma 6.4.5 and LibreOffice Version: 25.2.6.2
Even when I change the Display scale to 150 or 200%, using 1920x1080, the Options window appears between the top and bottom panel

I have a few more questions to try to narrow things down.
1. When you say "125% zoom" are you zoomed into the screen or are you talking about 125% display scale in Display Configuration?
2. Do you experience the same problem with Qt / KDE applications, such as in Kate bringing up Settings - Configure Kate ?

Hi, thanks for the followup.
125% display scale configuration (from KDE settings).
Regarding libreoffice I downloaded it as a flatpak and I am able to reproduce the behavior consistently - if you need additional documentation please let me know. The video I attached in the bug report shows the specific overlap between the popup and the taskbar - part of the popup is visibly beneath the taskbar panel.

I just tested with Kate and at 125%, 150%, 175% scaling, and the popup does not go below the taskbar panel.

What version of LibreOffice do you have installed? This may be a bug specific to the software.

From some investigation it might indeed be a bug in LibreOffice. I did some testing on other GTK apps and while it wasn't super extensive they kept their popups within the two panels. While not exactly the same, there have been many similar issues in the past.

That does point to this being specific to LibreOffice.

Without knowing what version of LO you have, this is likely not the issue. This was fixed in 24.2.2.2, as noted in the comments. So unless your version is older than that, this isn't the bug you have.

This is more likely the bug you're seeing, especially if you have multiple displays.

I'll close this report out for now. If you see the same problem with other apps in your system, feel free to re-open it.
