Created attachment 186220 [details] GDB backtrace of crash - flatpak Krita 5.2.13 SUMMARY Krita crashes when G'MIC Layers Blend [Seamless] is used to blend two layers together STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open any image 2. Create second layer 3. Start G'MIC 4. Select Layers > Blend [Seamless] (leave settings at default) 6. Click Apply button 7. Wait approximately 12 seconds OBSERVED RESULT Once Apply button is clicked, G'MIC will execute Blend [Seamless] operation of multiple layers, but immediately following, Krita hangs for approximately 12 seconds (with no response from keyboard or mouse input), then crashes. EXPECTED RESULT After Apply button is pressed, G'MIC should execute the operation, and menu window should close when either the OK or Exit buttons are clicked, allowing user to continue working in Krita. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: LMDE 7 Gigi Cinnamon Version: 6.4.13 Linux Kernel: 6.12.48+deb13-amd64 Processor: Intel Core i7-7700 CPU @ 3.60GHz × 4 GPU: Intel HD Graphics 630 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Krita version(s) tested: 5.2.10 appimage, 5.2.13 flatpak, 5.2.14 prealpha appimage (crash occurs across all versions) G’MIC version(s) tested in Krita: 3.5.0/3.5.3 The above procedure was also attempted in the flatpak version of GIMP 3.0.6 with G’MIC version 3.6.3. Crash did not occur, possibly indicating crash is specific to G’MIC versions 3.5.0 and 3.5.3. Crash only occurs when G’MIC versions 3.5.0 and 3.5.3 Layers Blend [Seamless] is used within Krita. Note: Updating G'MIC filters from within G'MIC-Qt interface will allow Blend [Seamless] to function correctly for only a single instance. All subsequent uses induce the 12 second hang and crash. Crash was replicated on multiple computers with varying hardware (including nVidia proprietary graphics) using LMDE 7 Gigi and Linux Mint 22.2 Zara.
