Those are distinct entries with different functionality, they just have the same name. You can check this via the "Edit..." button

You can check this via the "Edit..." button Yes you are right, but looks like duplicates, and how do I know this without clicking "Edit" button. Nevertheless, please consider that this may confused user, or at least I was confused and reported bug. In my humble opinion this is not correct approach, to show several the same entries in list. which look like duplicates, at first glance.
There's not much we can do about it. We present the information that apps give us. If apps give us information with the same names and icons, they look like duplicates.

And yes, you present the information that apps give you and in these information there are unique like for example "Command", which you could present as tooltip when user mouse over the element. My first impression after I have read your answer was: you don't want to fix it, just because, sorry for conclusion; BTW. Edit for each entry is really old fashion way, and not so much comfortable for user to move move up and down to edit entry, fortunately there is double click. I wonder why here is missing inline placed edit button for every entry, like for example in configuration of systray.
You're right that we don't want to put in any effort to improve this, because it's one of the oldest pages in System Settings, and one of the few remaining ones written using QtWidgets. Few people have interest in working on them. If and when it gets rewritten in QML, it will be more likely to receive some UI polish in a way that might improve the situation here. But it looks like any argument here is somewhat moot as there was already an existing report requesting this! Marking it as a duplicate. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 456682 ***
