App-Launcher-Show in Favorites

SUMMARY
I don't use an option "Activities", I have only one desktop (no more virtual desktops). Despite this when I click RMB onto any entry in "Applications Launcher -> Favorites -> Show in Favorites" I can see following entries:

On All Activities
On the Current Activity
---------------------------------
Default
... (repeated 11 times)
Default

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open Applications Launcher
2. In section Favorites use RMB
3. Select "Show in Favorites"

OBSERVED RESULT
Option related to Activities, despite I don't have any
Many entries "Default"

EXPECTED RESULT
No option "Show in Favorites", because I don't have any "Activity"
Or at least no repeated entries "Default"

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
KDE Plasma Version: 6.5.80
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.20.0
Qt Version: 6.9.2

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Comment 1 Piotr Mierzwinski 2025-10-25 20:53:53 UTC
As first STEP TO REPRODUCE should be:
1. "Activities" are disabled in KDE/Plasma
and after all other steps I put in very first post.

BTW. It is shame we cannot edit form here :(

Solution/work around for this issue is just remove all "Default" entries in "System Settings -> Activities".
The thing is I didn't configure any activity and all of Default just appeared in menu.

It would appear kglobalaccel got a bit confused and added config entries for Activities that aren't actually present? Then then that's the data source that Plasma uses to determine your activities.

There's no kglobalaccel involved here

Then it sounds like for whatever reason you really had several activities and the menu worked as expected?

I'm not sure if worked as expected. I don't remember I was adding so big number of activities, as far as I remember I dropped activities when moved to Plasma 6. Anyway I could not remove all, and must left one.

Anyway currently I cannot reproduce the issue.
I mean when I click RMB onto any icon placed in Favorites I don't see in popup an option "Show in Favorites"

Let us know if you can reproduce the problem in Plasma 6.5.4. If not, you can just let this bug auto-close after 30 days. Thanks!

I installed Neon Testing Edition, and in Info Center I can see "Plasma 6.5.4"
BTW. I don't receive everyday updates despite about this version was promised "Featuring pre-release KDE software built the same day from bugfix branches.", so I expect the same as in develop version everyday updates.

I cannot reproduce step:
"2. In section Favorites use RMB"
because RMB does nothing, unless I click onto any icon, then I get context menu, but without any reference to "activities"

Anyway in "Keyboard Shortcuts" still I can see the same as in this report, so value "None" - the same as in attached screenshot.

Thanks for the update. It sounds like there are no more Activities entries in the right click menu, and things are working as expected, so I'll go ahead and mark this fixed.
