Then I went to "Configure Kdenlive" to change more settings and it crashed before showing the window. STEPS TO REPRODUCE I don't know the exact repro but I have stack traces attached. OBSERVED RESULT Crash EXPECTED RESULT No crash. Hmm, how can you change project settings while the project is open? Or did I misunderstand you?
I might not have really understood what was happening at first, but I think was changing settings for the current project (like frame rate), but instead it seems like I was manipulating settings of a different profile, like one that was generated automatically and put under the "Custom" category. I think I selected this profile with the changed frame rate, clicked "OK", and then the project itself updated to that profile. Then I went into "Configure Kdenlive" and it crashed. I just tried what I thought was the repro again, and no crash occurred, so again I'm not quite sure. It might depend on doing a bunch of other things beforehand. Sorry that it seems so vague, I figured the crash stack would give a good indicator of at least where or why in lieu of an exact repro.
