SUMMARY When a new window is created, it's normally raised above all pre-existing windows. However, since the 6.5.0 update, some windows (but not all, I don't know which ones) are created below pre-existing windows. It happens for example with Firefox or Chromium, when a new windows is opened with Ctrl-n. The new browser window is always opened below the existing window. I also happens with konsole, but only when the new konsole is opened by typing "konsole" in the existing konsole. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open Firefox or Chromium 2. Press Ctrl-n to open a new window OBSERVED RESULT The new window opens below the existing window. EXPECTED RESULT The new window should be raised above the existing one, like it did before KDE 6.5.0. KDE Plasma Version: 6.5.0 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.19.0 Qt Version: 6.10.0 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION I have "Focus follows mouse (mouse precedence)"
Firefox and Chromium need to fix their activation usage. It has been fixed for Firefox already upstream, not sure what the state of the Chromium patch is though. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 509990 ***
